Willow weaving products are loved by consumers due to their selection of natural green raw materials and careful weaving by skilled craftsmen. Green, natural, fashionable, and environmentally friendly products cater to people's pursuit of health and green.

80% -90% of willow weaving products are exported to developed countries such as Europe and America. A small portion is consumed domestically, with the main markets in China being hotels, supermarkets, and some home accessory stores. But with the improvement of domestic consumption level and quality of life, the demand for willow weaving handicrafts is also increasing.

However, the prices of willow weaving handicrafts have been consistently high recently. The author analyzes and believes that there are mainly the following reasons:

Due to climate and weather conditions, last year's drought resulted in a generally poor harvest of willows, reduced production, and poor quality. There is a shortage of raw materials, but market demand is still so high or even increasing, so prices are bound to rise. Therefore, there has also been a phenomenon of purchasing wicker from outside the city, and the intuitive phenomenon is that wicker from Northeast China has recently appeared in the local market of Linyi.

Secondly, there is an increase in labor costs, which has already appeared in the south, mainly manifested as labor shortages, and this phenomenon is also present in mainland cities. Nowadays, young people are rarely willing to continue to stay at home and weave these handicrafts. They are more inclined to venture outside, although the salary may not be high. Their greatest desire is to leave the countryside and develop in the city, enjoying the working environment there. So the main editors are still some elderly people and some housewives. Although they are willing to stay at home and continue working in this industry, they still measure the income gap between working outside and weaving from home. If the weaving income is lower than the cost of working outside, they are also unwilling to accept orders placed by brokers.

3. Price rigidity. For example, has the housing price in the real estate industry decreased as you know it? The price is generally getting higher and higher. The example I gave may not be very appropriate, but what I want to express is this: once the price of willow weaving handicrafts increases, it is difficult to come down again.
